asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air what percentage of the air crews engaged received immediate awards after the successful operations against the Mohne Dam and the "Tirpitz," respectively.

Immediate awards were granted to 31 per cent, of the members of aircrew who took part in the operation in which the Mohne Dam was attacked, and to 7 per cent, of those who took part in the operation when the "Tirpitz" was sunk.
