§ Mr. BurkeThere are five exchange lines serving Cowley Barracks at present, but as three of these have only recently been provided for an incoming formation, I cannot yet judge of their adequacy; in any case spare circuits in the service cable are available for public use. The peak number of exchange lines at Cowley Barracks was 14 at the end of the war, but at one period up to 30 private wires were also in use.
