§ Miss WilkinsonIn agreement with the War Office and other Departments concerned, I have advised the London County Council that no further admission to day classes in technical colleges, should be granted to members of the Polish armed forces. I have done so partly because the responsibility for providing educational facilities for Service personnel, whether our own or our Allies, rests with the authorities of the Service to which they belong, and partly because the day-time resources of technical colleges are now fully engaged in meeting the normal training needs of industry and the special training needs of demobilised persons.
