Major Lloydasked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the fact that the residents in the Oldhall district of Renfrewshire have long been pressing for a branch post office in their neighbourhood; and whether he will take steps to meet this need at the earliest possible moment.
§ Mr. BurkeThe sub-post office was closed in January last owing to the resignation of the sub-postmaster. It will be re-opened as soon as a suitable candidate for the office is available, but so far none has been forthcoming, though all possible steps to find one have been taken.
