Major Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Anglo-Polish Treaty of Mutual Assistance of 25th August, 1939, is still valid.
Mr. Noel-BakerArticle 8 of the Agreement provides that the Agreement shall remain automatically in force for five years, that is to say till August, 1944. Thereafter the Agreement was to continue in force subject to denunciation by either "party at six months' notice. Neither party to the Agreement having given notice of denunciation, the Agreement continues in force.
