Mr. FraserThe highest percentage of loss during the twelve months ended 15th May, 1945, in a sheep stock placed on a deer forest or similar subject by the Secretary of State was 21.3 per cent. This loss occurred with an unacclimatised stock on a forest which suffered a severe and prolonged snowstorm during the winter 1944–1945.
