§ Sir S. CrippsThe manufacture of amusement machines of the kind which my hon. Friend has in mind is subject to licence. Licences have been granted in cases which have been justified by the local employment situation and the prospects of export. The great bulk of production is for export. No importation of these machines is being permitted.
