asked the President of the Board of Trade, in view of the fact that horticultural firms and bulb growers in this country are concerned at the number of catalogues of Dutch bulbs which are daily being received by post from Holland, what regulations are in force by which the importation of Dutch bulbs into the United Kingdom is limited..

In agreement with His Majesty's Government, the Netherlands Government will limit the issue of licences for the export during the present season of flower bulbs, corms, and tubers from the Netherlands to this country to a quantity not exceeding 5,000 tons and a value not exceeding £725,000 f.o.b. Dutch port.
