asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of Pan-American Airways to fly four aircraft weekly from the U.S.A. to Bermuda at a fare of £31 10s., while the corresponding British service of two machines weekly costs £36; and what measures he proposes to take to improve this situation and how soon.

Yes, Sir. Arrangements for securing agreement on the appropriate fares are among the matters to be discussed with the United States authorities in respect of the United States-Bermuda Air Services.
