HC Deb 12 November 1945 vol 415 c1870W
Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has considered the report recently issued by the Association of Applied Biologists on the Recruitment and Training of Plant Pathologists in Great Britain; and whether he proposes to adopt the recommendations that one or more plant pathology training centres should be established, that the level of training in plant pathology of county officers should be raised, and that the training and maintenance of students should be covered by adequate financial provisions.

Mr. T. Williams

I have seen the report to which the hon. Member refers and have remitted it to the Love day Committee on Higher Agricultural Education, by whom it will no doubt be sympathetically considered.
