§ Sir F. Sandersonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the reduction of the maximum rate of deposit interest from 1 per cent. to ½ per cent., he proposes any alteration in the rate of interest of 2½ per cent. which is allowed by the Post Office on sight deposits.
