HC Deb 08 November 1945 vol 415 cc1607-8W
Captain F. Noel-Baker

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that civilian mail between Yugoslavia and the United Kingdom is being subjected to Italian censorship and how long this will continue.

Mr. Lawson

The present agreement with the Italian Government authorises the censorship of external mail transit through Italy. The abolition of External Civil Censorship is now under consideration.
