§ Mr. E. J. WilliamsI am now taking steps to set up an Advisory Committee on Television on the lines recommended in the Hankey Report. Until this Committee is constituted and has taken stock of the position, it would be premature for me to make any statement on future television arrangements. Meantime the B.B.C. are getting together the necessary staff for the service.
