§ Mr. Channonasked the Secretary of State for War whether officers who have signed on for a further period of service in the Army will commence that additional service on the normal date of demobilisation for their group, or will such extended service date from" the delayed release dates recently introduced for officers in certain groups.
§ Mr. LawsonOfficers who applied to extend before the delayed release dates were notified will count their additional service from the release dates previously notified. Those who applied afterwards, that is, on or after 17th October, will count their additional service from the new release dates, when published.
