§ Mr. Glenvil Hall, pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 23rd October, 1945; Vol. 414, c. 1874] supplied the following statement
The following table gives for all Departments, other than the Ministry of Information, the particulars to which I referred in my reply to the hon. Member on the 23rd October. The totals given are in respect of whole time staff, including Regional as well as Headquarters staff, as at 1st October, 1945. The figures for the Service Departments include Home but not Overseas Commands. Most of the totals of annual cost are approximate.

- (c) Includes 18 staff (cost £7,642) employed in the Publicity and Campaign Branch of the Directorate of Salvage and Recovery.
