§ Sir L. Lyleasked the Minister of Health what steps are being taken to help in respect of the house repairs of residents in county towns, well outside the London area, who have suffered heavily from enemy action.
§ Mr. WillinkI presume my hon. Friend is referring to districts which have suffered recent damage. The ordinary schemes for repairs, developed during the war, are in operation there, and the resources of local authorities are supplemented as may be necessary. The reduced licensing limit enables additional labour to be made available for this purpose.
