Brownasked the Minister of Information whether his attention has been drawn to complaints by the staff side of the Whitley Council of the Postal and Telegraph Censorship Department that subordinate members of the staff have been required to do shopping and to stand in shopping queues for their superior officers during their official hours of duty; whether he has made a full inquiry into the circumstances of this irregularity; and what action has been taken.
Mr. G. LloydMy predecessor's attention was drawn to a request by the Staff Side of the Whitley Council of the Postal and Telegraph Censorship Department for an inquiry into the matter mentioned. The inquiry has been held and I expect to receive the report shortly.
