Wakefieldasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the manpower shortage, an opportunity will be given to men who were invalided out of the Army at an early stage in the war but who are now fit and wish to volunteer for further service; and whether arrangements exist to enable these men to reenlist.
Sir J. GriģģThe answer to both parts of the Question is "Yes, Sir." Provided such men are acceptable on age and medical grounds they may be re-enlisted on duration engagements. The number of such applications is naturally not very great.
