§ Mr. Priceasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will take steps to secure superannuation rights for the staffs of probation committees appointed by quarter sessions in each county.
§ Mr. H. MorrisonThere is, as my hon. Friend will be aware, an existing scheme for the superannuation of full-time probation officers. The question of replacing it by an extended scheme which would include their clerical assistants has been under consideration. Legislation will be required before the change can be effected.
