The distribution of grant from the Education (Scotland) Fund to education authorities in Scotland is broadly determined by a formula which takes account of the numbers of pupils and teachers in the schools and the rateable value of each area, but does not provide for State grant for specific expenditure of the kind indicated in the Question.
