HC Deb 21 March 1945 vol 409 c834W
Mr. McEntee

asked the Minister of Labour if he will make arrangements for suitable men, who are now unemployed in Midland and Northern towns and who are willing to come to London, to have their fares and initial expenses paid so that the shortage of labour for debris clearance may be met.

Mr. Bevin

I am not aware that there are any such men.
