§ Mr. E. Granvilleasked the Secretary of State for War why every A.B.C.A. pamphlet issued to the Army is inscribed "Restricted"; and that the information given in the pamphlet is not to be communicated, either directly or indirectly, to the Press or to any person not authorised to receive it; and why this appears on "Current Affairs" editions also, which are circulated merely to promote discussion on affairs of public interest.
Sir J. GriģģThe hon. Member is misinformed. The A.B.C.A. "Current Affairs" bulletins are marked "Crown Copyright Reserved" and have been since July, 1944. The bulletin "War" sometimes contains information about the war which should not be available to unauthorised persons and is consequently classified as "Restricted."
