§ Mr. Goldieasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, owing to the difficulties experienced under war conditions by members of the public summoned for jury service at assizes and quarter sessions, he will authorise the payment to such persons of such sums as will cover their travelling and out-of-pocket expenses.
