§ Sir I. Fraserasked the Secretary of State for War if he will cause inquiry to be made into the explosion of a Mills bomb on Kirkby Moor, near Ulverston, on Wednesday, 9th May, which caused the 1894W death of one boy and the serious wounding of two others; and if he will assure the House that open spaces which have been used as training grounds with live ammunition will now be swept.
§ Sir J. GriggAn inquiry into this distressing accident is being held. It has been delayed because the unit which was in occupation of the area in question is now overseas.
