HC Deb 14 June 1945 vol 411 c1830W
Sir L. Ward

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport whether he is aware that on the 9.45 train from Hull to King's Cross, on 12th June, the only first-class non-smoking compartment on the train was reserved for one Admiralty courier; and, in view of the inconvenience caused, will he give instructions that this shall not recur or alternatively provide more accommodation for the general public.

Mr. P. Thorneycroft

I am making inquiries and will communicate with my hon. and gallant Friend as soon as possible.
