HC Deb 12 June 1945 vol 411 c1500W
Mr. Driberg

asked the Secretary of State for War if all steps have been taken to ascertain whether members of aircrews reported missing on fairly recent operations over Norway may have survived as prisoners of war or in hiding with friendly Norwegians; and if any hope still remains that some of these not yet accounted for may survive.

Mr. H. Macmillan

I have been asked to reply. Every effort is being made to trace the aircrews to whom the hon. Member refers. Unhappily it is impossible to say at present what hope, if any, remains of the survival of men not yet accounted for.
