§ Mr. Spearmanasked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he is aware that trawlers from Scarborough and elsewhere, fishing the Dogger Bank, have to steam about 320 miles instead of 150 miles, because there is no channel through the mine- 1100W fields nearer than Cromer or Montrose; and if, in view of this waste of time and coal, he will expedite the making of another channel more convenient for this area.
§ Mr. BrackenSweeping operations are now being carried out with the highest priority to give easier access from East Coast ports to the fishing grounds.
