§ Mr. Stokesasked the Minister of Health whether the Standing Committee on Medicinal and Nutritional Problems was asked in writing for its advice before the wheat extraction was reduced from 85 per cent. to 80 per cent.; how many members of the Committee attended the meeting to consider the question and to tender the advice, and whether the advice was given in writing to the Minister.
§ Mr. Hamilton KerrThe answer to the first and third parts of the Question is "Yes, Sir." With regard to the second part of the Question, this matter was considered by the Committee on three occasions, the number of members present varying from 14 to 16, which is the total membership of the Committee.
