§ Major Anstruther-GrayElection matter for transmission to Forces overseas is not to be handed by candidates to the Post Office but to the Returning Officer, whose duty it is to forward it direct with the ballot paper to the man or woman concerned. I understand that Returning Officers have been instructed themselves to complete these postings within three days of Nomination Day, i.e., 28th June.
