§ Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can give an assurance that all schools and colleges in areas under the control of his Department taken over or used for military purposes during the war have now been made available for their original purposes.
§ Colonel StanleyI cannot make a categorical statement without making inquiries of every territory. But I can assure my hon. Friend that every effort is being made to enable educational establishments loaned to the military to be restored to their original use as soon as possible. A number of such establishments in East and West Africa have already been released.
