asked the First Lord of the Admiralty who are the members of the Committee appointed by him to advise his Department on what prices should be paid for the construction of warships and kindred matters; and when such Committee last met.

The Committee to which my hon. Friend refers is the Contracts Advisory Committee, the members of which are:

Sir Malcolm Robertson, P.C., G.C.M.G., K.B.E., M.P. (Chairman).

Sir Nicholas Waterhouse, K.B.E.

Sir William Fraser, C.B.E.

Sir Norman Leslie, K.B.E.

The Committee last met on 28th February, 1941.
