§ Mr. Purbrickasked the Prime Minister when he expects to make the statement on the duties, etc., of the Minister for Civil Aviation which was promised in reply to Questions on 11th October, 1944; and, in view of his statement that no change in control of civil aviation can be made without legislation, will he adhere to that in regard to the appointment of the new Minister and not authorise any additional expenditure under this heading.
