§ Mr. DaltonMembers of the public in these and other areas, who need to replace articles destroyed by enemy action, may apply for priority dockets for bedding, curtain material and floor coverings, and traders are able to get extra supplies to meet orders accompanied by such dockets. I regret that, owing to the shortage of household goods and furnishings, I cannot at present see my way to arrange for special supplies to be directed to traders in these areas for the re-equipment of hotels and boarding houses.
