Whiteasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he has considered the objections of the Derbyshire County Tuberculosis Committee to the development of the opencast site near their sanatorium at Walton; on what grounds he is proceeding with this work in view of the concern it is causing those in charge of the sanatorium; and if he will confer with the Minister of Health on the matter before operations commence.

On receipt of a notification to that effect my Regional Controller approved the working of the site.
