§ Mr. Muffasked the Minister of Food if he is aware that there are three British 1652W Restaurants at Hessle, Anlaby and Willerby in East Yorkshire; and if he will take steps to ensure that the Haltemprice Urban Council continue to serve the public by keeping these food centres in full service.
§ Colonel LlewellinThe answer to the first part of the Question is, "Yes, Sir." With regard to the second, the Council has decided that there is not sufficient present or prospective demand from the general public for mid-day meals to justify the continuance of the British Restaurants and, after careful consideration, I am not prepared to disagree with that view.
