§ Major Pooleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that the owner of the land on which the wardens' post was constructed near Canal Bridge, Polesworth, has offered £ 4 for the building, but that the local authority state that rather than accept this offer the Home Office are prepared to incur expenditure in demolishing the structure; and will he take steps to prevent such waste of public money and resources.
