§ Mr. Goochasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will bring to the notice of the Central Agricultural Wages Board the decision to continue the operation of the Control of Engagement Order to agricultural workers, thus preventing them from seeking more remunerative employment outside the agricultural industry.
§ Mr. CollickNo, Sir. The representative members of the Agricultural Wages Board can be relied upon to see that the Board are seized of all the relevant facts. It is unnecessary as well as undesirable that I should bring to their notice, especially on a selective basis, the various factors which may appear to have a bearing on their duties.
