§ Major Bruceasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has investigated the instances of profiteering in Portsmouth in the sale of children's Christmas toys as sent to him by the hon. and gallant Member for North Portsmouth on 10th December; what action he has taken or proposes to take against the firms involved; and what action he proposes to take to ensure that Portsmouth citizens are not swindled during the present stringency by unscrupulous toy firms.
