§ Mr. Rentonasked the Minister of Supply and of Aircraft Production whether he will now arrange for penicillin to be sold to the public in tablet form, so as to save the people who require it, although 1067W not confined to bed, the hardship, inconvenience and expense of having to go to hospitals, clinics or surgeries for injection.
§ Mr. WilmotI understand that treatment with penicillin otherwise than by injection cannot at the present time be recommended for general use. Extensive research is, however, now being carried out and as soon as a suitable technique is established, steps will be taken to make the necessary preparations of penicillin available, in accordance with the recommendations of the medical authorities of the Ministry of Health.
