HC Deb 17 December 1945 vol 417 c1081W
Captain C. Smith

asked the Minister of Agriculture what action has been taken by his Department as a result of the representations made by the hon. Member for Colchester on 4th November, about the condition of the fishing grounds off the North Essex coast.

Mr. T. Williams

I have had careful inquiries made regarding the osbtructions to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers, and have since been in touch with the War Department and the Air Ministry on the subject. As a result I am informed that arrangements are being made for the removal in the near future of those of the obstructions which are, I understand, causing the greatest inconvenience to the local fiishermen.
