§ Mr. Goochasked the Secretary of State for War if he will revise the form of declaration to be completed by a pensioner claiming an increased pension under the Pensions Increase Warrant, 1944, by eliminating the imposition of the means test to persons who deserve well of their country.
§ Mr. BellengerThe conditions for the grant of increases of Army pensions under the Pensions Increase Warrant, 1944, including the income condition to which my hon. Friend refers, follow the terms of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1944, and I am not able to make exceptions to the general rules in favour of Army pensioners.
