§ Lieutenant Skeffington-Lodgeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that many relatives of distressed persons are anxiously awaiting the special arrangements which he undertook to make for Germany and Austria; and how soon he expects to be able to announce these arrangements.
§ Mr. EdeI am anxious to announce the arrangements at the earliest possible date, but I have not yet heard whether certain proposals agreed upon with the various Departments concerned in this country are capable of implementation in Germany or in Austria.
