Mr. Amoryasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware of the unsatisfactory conditions under which aircrews of Transport Command are at present having to work in S.E.A.A.F.; and whether he will take effective steps to improve them.
§ Mr. StracheyI realise that living conditions have not, at first, been good for many members of the Royal Air Force in the Far East. Our commanders in the Far East are taking active steps to deal with these difficulties, and I think that the conditions will improve generally as soon as possible.
