Mr. Amoryasked the Minister of Labour whether, when next fixing block allocations for Class B releases from the services, he will arrange that science students shall be eligible for release on similar terms to those applying at present to arts students.
§ Mr. IsaacsNo, Sir. As science students generally have received deferment for the purpose of obtaining qualifications, the existing conditions under which they can be released in Class B are more appropriate than those laid down for arts students.
