§ Mr. Henderson Stewartasked the Secretary of State for War the policy of his Department with regard to the release of huts and other buildings which might be used as temporary housing accommodation for the civilian population.
§ Mr. LawsonIt is the policy to dispose of all huts once it has been determined that they are not required for military purposes. At an early stage the Ministry of Health or the Department of Health for Scotland is given the opportunity of requesting transfer in the interests of local housing.
