asked the President of the Board of Trade whether parcels of second-hand clothes can now be sent to European refugees without the obtaining of an export licence from his Department.

Mr. Marquand,

pursuant to his reply (OFFICIAL REPORT, 5th December, 1945, Vol. 416, c. 2342) supplied the following statement:

The following is a list of the countries in Europe for which parcel post facilities are not at present available: Austria, Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Roumania, U.S.S.R., Yugoslavia.
