§ Flight-Lieutenant Beswickasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation what encouragement and assistance is being extended to the Portuguese authorities to instal the British blind-approach system at Portela airport, Lisbon.
§ Mr. StracheyI am informed that the Portuguese authorities have arranged for the supply and installation of the necessary equipment by commercial firms and that the major part of the equipment has already been delivered. Everything possible has been done here by the departments concerned to facilitate and expedite delivery and installation.
