Mr. Ivor ThomasMy Department has at its disposal in medical problems of aviation the extensive knowledge and experience of the Directorate-General of Medical Services in the Air Ministry and of the Air Ministry Flying Personnel Research Committee. This committee has made intensive studies, both under laboratory conditions and in the field of the effect on aircrew fatigue of long range and altitude flying and constant change from one climatic condition to another. It maintains close liaison with the medical director of the British Overseas Airways Corporation and will do so with the two new corporations to be formed.
