§ Mr. Tomlinson33,800 square feet of space is under requisition in the premises referred to. The staff employed there on the 1st September, 1st October and 1st November numbered 334, 327, and 330 respectively.

§ Mr. TomlinsonA total of 13,489 s.f. of space is held on requisition in the two buildings referred to. Of this 7,440 s.f. is occupied at present. The remainder has been unoccupied since August, 1944 and is now being progressively occupied. The property will be required for Government purposes for as long as I can foresee at present.
§ Mr. Hoyasked the Minister of Works what progress is being made with the derequisitioning of houses in Scotland at present occupied by the Services.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI am glad to say that considerable progress is being made. The total number of houses held on requisition by the three Service departments on the cessation of hostilities was respectively, Admiralty 420, War Department 310, Air Ministry 341. Of these the Admiralty has released to date 206, the War Department 83, the Air Ministry 108.
