2048W
§ Mr. WilmotGeneral discussions have taken place with the Radio Industry Council, on which the British Valve Association is represented, about the disposal of radio surpluses. Approximately 3,000,000 radio valves have so far been declared surplus to Service requirements but not all of these are of types suitable for civil use. Surplus valves released for the home market will be disposed of through trade channels, including the valve manufacturers, and invitations to tender have been issued.
